Autumn 2021 - new build! (...ish...)
Hi everyone, Eclipse here.
First of all, Autumn is here. Likewise, I have actually pushed a new update to the site (the download link has likewise been updated), in which there are some major additions to the battle formula.
Firstly, the skill interface works! Granted, some skills are rudimentary, and only one skill has an associated effect, but given how I programmed things, I feel I could add associated effects for other skills if I could create assets or muster GMS's particle system to much degree.
Kennen and Ammy each have one skill. Niko does not. In her design (being manaless and relying on consumables and/or special equips) she has a handful of corner cases to flush out. The next build should ideally have this system flushed out with a set of four skillsets; I will not likely touch upon learnsets until another build cycle.
And that is basically it for a while.
Lore wise, I believe I have a title in mind. Hopefully I could add enough features to warrant an update by the time next season flies by.
